Fuses For Electric Power Protection
Widely used in high and low voltage distribution systems, control systems, and electrical equipment; when in use, the fuse is connected in series in the protected circuit. When the current in the protected circuit exceeds the specified value and continues for a certain period of time, the heat generated by the fuse itself melts the fuse, causing the circuit to disconnect, thus providing protection.
